You will log into your PowerSchool Account by going to https:l/_ps.aztec.k12.nm.us/public/, enter your Username and Password, click on Online Registration (On the left side of the screen), and select Returning Student. Under Household

List you will see your student's name(s), click on Go to Registration and click on Guardian Information. Check all the information and make changes as needed. Continue through all of the pages and click on the Submit Forms button. Registration is now complete. (You can also make changes in PowerSchool anytime throughout the school year to update phone numbers, address/mailing address, emergency contracts etc. without having to contact the office).

Information regarding Summer School:

Summer School is only 16 days, and we have a lot to cover, we expect the best possible attendance and behavior from students attending. Students will be given homework assignments to complete and they will be expected to do these as we cannot complete all the work to make up a year in the time allotted. Please remember that to move onto the next grade students need to pass and complete the summer school program. To do so they must:

-Pass all 4 classes with a 60% D or better

-Be absent no more than 3 days.

-Have no more than 2 verbal warnings for discipline.

-Have no Category 2 or 3 Discipline Issues during Summer School (Harassment, Bullying, Tobacco, Fighting, Drugs/Alcohol, Weapons).

Please remember that summer school for Koogler is not used to replace academic eligibility for Athletics. It will not change a student’s G.P.A and will not make the eligible to play sports.

Anyone who does not pass with a 60% or better, has excessive absences that have not been cleared before the program starts with Mrs. Sledzinski, or is a continuous discipline problem will be dropped from the program and have to meet with the principal about what the next steps will be, including possible retention.

Summer School runs from June 4th -28th, Monday through Thursday, 8 am-12 noon. It is located in the 200 section of Aztec High School. Students should be dropped off and picked in the front of the school each day. There will be lunch served at 12 noon on the lawn in front of the school.
