Announcements
Hello Students and Families,
As you know the first day of school for 6th graders is this coming Monday 8/9. 7th and 8th graders start on Tuesday 8/10. We are thrilled to have students back on campus with us and excited to start the next year.
When students arrive at school they pick up breakfast from a cart then proceed immediately to their first hour, please check PowerSchool and make sure they know who their first hour class is and where it is located.
6th Graders will have a tour and orientation in the morning and see all of their teachers in the afternoon. It is recommended that students just bring a backpack and something to write with the first day, then bring supplies later in the week.
Open House and Chromebook checkout will be:
- Tuesday 8/10 from 4:30pm-7:30 pm for 6th graders
- Wednesday 8/11 from 4:30pm-7:30 pm for 7th graders
- Thursday 8/12 from 4:30pm-7:30 pm for 8th graders
Parents must come to Open House with their students to sign paperwork and pay the Chromebook insurance fee. If you are unable to make it on your students open house night you may come to another one to check out a Chromebook, but their teachers will not be present. If you are unable to make it in the evening you may come during the day to sign paperwork and pay the $15 fee for Chromebook checkout. We do have scholarships and payments plans available if you cannot afford the Chromebook insurance fee.
We will need all students and parents to sign in at their grade level buildings and then Chromebooks will be checked by coming to the office. Lines may be long, but you can switch on/off between Open House and Chromebook checkout.
All students must checkout a Chromebook. We would like all students to have these by Friday 8/13/21.
If a student wants a schedule change they should sign up for this the first week of school in the office. Please be aware our options are very limited.
We look forward to seeing everyone soon!
